So I have a 11 year old friend, her name is Emme…. I have done her photos a few times and she dances with my girls. She knows a million more things about instagram than I do. (Literally, I have never felt so inadequate as when I try to use instagram 🙂 She follows all the cool people, she finds things first and she introduced me to a super famous dance photographer, Jordan Matter. I love pretty much every single photo that he has ever posted! SO… of course I’m like hey, I can shoot and Emme says, I can dance! Here was our take on a city shoot with Emme and a few of her dance friends! Also, I have to give the hugest shout out to Ashley Hedgcoth from The Dance Academy here in Murfreesboro for coming with us and lending her expertise in making sure the girls showed off lots of different skills and getting them posed JUST right! I’m still editing and there are still SO MANY MORE but I just had to share what we have so far!

Well Mr. Luke is now 9 months old and it was a perfect day to add to his first year milestone collection! He enjoyed trying to eat grass, leaves and pumpkins (not so much the not being ALLOWED to eat the grass, and leaves and pumpkins 🙂 The rest of use enjoyed his smiles and giggles and cute little expressions! We got so many adorable images in such a short amount of time!

DA Student Teachers
So this post is a bit overdue but I had to wait for the photos to be used for their intended purpose before I could share! These girls are simply amazing! They are amazing dancers that represent the Dance Academy as regular student dancers as well being the seniors on the competition team. They are student teacher to the younger kids at DA as well as dance on their High School dance teams as well. They take honors classes and excel and are generally kind, fun, well rounded kids you enjoy being around! So…. before I gush anymore… here are my faves!
